Pacific Title Imaging provides Scanning, Recording, Color Correction and Image processing services as a service bureau for Hollywood's top Visual Effects houses.


SCANNING

Three Northlight Scanners lead the way in scanning technology capturing images with a 6K CCD and processing down to 4k and 2k deliverable frames creating the highest quality scans available. 16mm and 35mm formats are available. Two additional Kodak Cineon Genesis Plus Scanners feature tailored spectral diffuse illumination, pin-registered accuracy, 6-micron resolution, and Kodak's 10-bit Digital eXtended Range pixel encoding. All our scanners handle 2,000 and 1,000 foot loads allowing flexibility in delivery of Negative or Interpositive 35mm & 16mm film. We accommodate 35mm 2 perf, 3 perf, 4 perf, 16mm, Super 16 and Vista Vision material. All scans are down-rez'd and evaluated prior to writing to media ensuring the highest quality delivery of digital images the first time around.

RECORDING

A bank of Six ARRI Laser Recorders all with Speed Upgrades complimented by Two Kodak Lightning II Laser Recorders set the standard in laser film recording. Stable laser light writes directly to the red, green and blue layers of color intermediate stock and produces the highest image quality with the lowest flare and highest dynamic range in the industry. Our ability to shoot on either Acetate or Estar stock as Negative or Interpositive image in 1000' or 2000' loads allows flexibility in your delivery requirements.

Large Format film recording to 65mm 5,8, and 15-perf (IMAX) film formats is also available.

TAPE TO FILM

Introducing the World's most sophisticated image processing and laser transfer process for Standard Definition and High Definition images to 35mm film. Specializing in Commercial and Feature length projects handling the entire post process all the way through to Answer print. Experience 'One stop shopping' at Pacific Title that takes the mystery out of the complicated post film process.


COLOR CORRECTION
